There are three navigational tab at the top for Access, Status and Settings. These is also technical assistance available for customers of OpenVPN. The service can also use two-factor authentication, smart cards and secure certificates to further protect the data while it is traveling over the net so that it cannot be decrypted by a third party. SSL/TLS is used as a protocol to secure the communication over the VPN network so that it is protected from hackers. The service allows users to access the internet via a secure tunnel through the internet which leaves the present location and reaches one of OpenVPN's many VPN servers whereupon the internet usage is decrypted. OpenVPN is the desktop client for the OpenVPN virtual private network (VPN) that is available to premium subscribers.
